DRY BLOOD

Cinemavixion Review

Kelton Jones's 'Dry Blood' plunges viewers into the harrowing descent of a recovering addict seeking solace in a remote mountain cabin. The film masterfully blurs the lines between reality and hallucination as the protagonist grapples not only with the agonizing symptoms of withdrawal but also with a sinister presence lurking in the shadows. The plot, which involves a murder mystery, is intricately woven with supernatural elements and the psychological torment of addiction, creating a palpable sense of dread. The external data indicates the film, released in 2017, garnered 15 wins and 5 nominations, a testament to its impactful storytelling and performances, particularly from Clint Carney, who also co-wrote the screenplay. 'Dry Blood' is a chilling exploration of inner demons and external threats, offering a suspenseful and thought-provoking cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
