DRONE WARS

Cinemavixion Review

In "Drone Wars," director Jack Perez crafts a bleak vision of post-invasion Earth where humanity struggles for survival against relentless robotic overlords. The narrative, set in a resource-stripped Los Angeles, follows a desperate team of scientists aiming to dismantle the alien motherships. Corin Nemec and Whitney Moore anchor the film, portraying characters pushed to their limits in a world dominated by omnipresent drones. While the film's ambitious scope and grim atmosphere are palpable, it's the desperate fight for survival and the ingenuity of the human element that resonate. This is a stark exploration of resilience in the face of overwhelming technological dominance, offering a gritty, albeit low-budget, take on the alien occupation subgenre.
