DRIVEN TO KILL

Cinemavixion Review

Jeff King's 'Driven to Kill' plunges viewers into a world where fiction and reality violently collide. Steven Seagal embodies Ruslan, a crime novelist whose past as a mob enforcer resurfaces with brutal consequences. The narrative expertly weaves a tale of familial duty and vengeance, as Ruslan's daughter's impending marriage to the son of his arch-nemesis forces him to confront the ghosts of his former life. Seagal delivers a performance steeped in his signature stoic intensity, making Ruslan a compellingly conflicted protagonist. The film's gritty action sequences and exploration of loyalty and betrayal within the Russian mafia milieu offer a potent, if familiar, crime thriller experience. With a runtime of 98 minutes, 'Driven to Kill' provides a focused narrative that appeals to fans of the genre and Seagal's distinctive action style.
