DRAGONQUEST

Cinemavixion Review

In 'DragonQuest', director Mark Atkins crafts a fantasy adventure that, despite its modest production, delivers a familiar yet engaging narrative. The film centers on a young hero tasked with a critical quest to awaken a legendary dragon and defeat an ancient warlord's summoned beast. The plot, while trodden, is executed with a directness that serves the B-movie charm. Marc Singer and Brian Thompson lend their seasoned presence to the roles of a wise mentor and a formidable villain, respectively, anchoring the more youthful performances. While not a critical darling, evidenced by its IMDb rating, 'DragonQuest' offers a serviceable dose of mythological action and a clear, albeit simple, heroic journey that fans of low-budget fantasy epics might find satisfying.
