DRAG KIDS: BORN THIS WAY AT MONTREAL PRIDE

Cinemavixion Review

"Drag Kids: Born This Way at Montreal Pride" offers a poignant and vibrant glimpse into the lives of four remarkably talented young individuals who express themselves through the art of drag. This documentary intimately charts their journey as they prepare to unite for a special performance at the Montreal Pride Festival, a moment that promises to be both exhilarating and emotionally charged. The film thoughtfully explores the universal themes of isolation and the quest for belonging, particularly within the unique context of a subculture that itself exists on the margins. Through their shared passion, Stephan, Jason, Bracken, and Nemis navigate personal hurdles and the complexities of finding their authentic selves, creating a narrative that is both inspiring and deeply human. It's a powerful testament to self-expression and the courage it takes to embrace one's identity.
