DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN

Cinemavixion Review

Hugo Fregonese's "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" presents a unique, albeit unconventional, take on classic horror archetypes. The premise is ambitious, weaving together disparate monsters like Waldemar Daninsky, Frankenstein's creation, and a mummy under the control of extraterrestrial forces aiming for world domination. While the concept of an alien-led monster invasion is intriguing, the execution leans into a B-movie charm, featuring a memorable performance by Jacinto Molina in dual roles as both Frankenstein's monster and Count de Meirhoff. The film's strength lies in its sheer audacity and the nostalgic appeal of its creature features, offering a curious blend of sci-fi and gothic horror that fans of the genre might find surprisingly entertaining.
