DOOR INTO SILENCE

Cinemavixion Review

Lucio Fulci's 'Door Into Silence' presents a haunting road trip through the spectral landscapes of Louisiana. Following his father's funeral, a young man embarks on an aimless drive, only to find himself ensnared in a series of unsettling encounters. Mysterious meetings with an unknown woman, the chilling presence of an ominous hearse, and other supernatural events blur the lines between reality and the beyond. The film masterfully uses the desolate beauty of its setting to amplify the protagonist's psychological unease and descent into the unknown. It's a journey into the heart of grief and the lingering shadows of the past, offering a somber yet captivating exploration of the roads we travel, both literal and metaphorical.
