DOMINION

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Lowry's 2015 science fiction thriller, "Dominion," presents a dual narrative that probes the potential end of humanity and the profound nature of love across interstellar divides. The film intertwines the urgent quest of Robert Casey, a retired intelligence agent turned UFO investigator, with the poignant mission of Jaelen, an alien observer determined to save the human woman he loves before a cataclysmic event reshapes the world. While the premise offers a compelling blend of espionage and extraterrestrial romance, the execution, as reflected in its IMDb rating of 3.6/10, suggests a film that may struggle to fully realize its ambitious scope. "Dominion" is a thoughtful, albeit potentially flawed, exploration of global stakes and personal devotion, inviting audiences to ponder humanity's place in the cosmos.
