DOES THIS HILL HIDE A BURIED PALACE FROM CELTIC LEGENDS?

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary from Odyssey ventures into the heart of Irish mythology, specifically the Ulster Cycle, and its potential connection to tangible history. The program focuses on a site believed by some to be a palace of Conchobar mac Nessa, a legendary figure. The Time Team's investigation seeks to separate myth from reality, exploring whether the archaeological findings support the ancient tales or point to a different historical narrative. It's a compelling exploration of how legend and landscape intertwine, inviting viewers to ponder the enduring power of myth and the elusive nature of historical truth in the British Isles.
