DOCUMENTING THE WITCH PATH

Cinemavixion Review

Carl Sundström's 'Documenting the Witch Path' plunges into the chilling history of a place steeped in tragedy. The film follows three aspiring documentarians as they uncover the dark legacy of 'The Witch Path,' a route leading to the ominous 'Witch Lake.' This site, in the 17th century, was where women accused of witchcraft met a grim fate, drowned in its waters. The documentary attempts to shed light on this harrowing period, exploring the folklore and historical injustice tied to the location. While the premise is compelling, the execution aims to be a straightforward exploration of local legend and historical atrocity.
