DJANGO - DIE BIBEL IST KEIN KARTENSPIEL

Cinemavixion Review

This entry presents a Spaghetti Western with a classic revenge premise. 'Django - Die Bibel ist kein Kartenspiel' (1968) follows the bounty hunter Clips as he pursues John Coler, a man who wronged him and absconded with their shared loot. The twist arrives when Clips finally corners his quarry, only to discover it's not the man he expected, but rather the honest younger brother, Bill, who works with a traveling circus. The central question becomes whether Clips can recover the stolen gold, adding a layer of moral ambiguity to his quest for vengeance. The film, directed by Domenico Paolella, stars John Richardson, Mimmo Palmara, and Franco Giornelli, promising a gritty and suspenseful narrative typical of the genre.
