DITCHED

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher Donaldson's 'Ditched' plunges viewers into a primal struggle for survival, set against the unforgiving backdrop of a dense forest. The film centers on Melina, an Inuit paramedic, who finds herself in a dire predicament after a prison transport crash. Stranded and outnumbered by dangerous inmates, her immediate goal of escaping a ditch quickly escalates into a harrowing contest of wills against both human threats and an encroaching, unseen terror within the woods. Marika Sila delivers a compelling performance as Melina, embodying resilience and resourcefulness in the face of overwhelming odds. The film masterfully builds tension, transforming a confined situation into a claustrophobic battle for life, exploring themes of courage and the instinct to survive when pushed to the absolute limit.
