DISTORTION

Cinemavixion Review

Kirk Fogg's 'Distortion' plunges into the grimy labyrinth of Los Angeles, chronicling the desperate search of a former addict for his abducted girlfriend. The film attempts a stylistic thriller, weaving a narrative through the city's underbelly. While the premise holds promise, the execution, as suggested by its modest critical reception, may prove uneven. Fogg, also serving as writer and director, brings a personal vision to this neo-noir landscape. Viewers seeking a gritty, character-driven exploration of redemption and obsession might find elements to appreciate, though the film's impact hinges on its ability to sustain its atmospheric tension and deliver a compelling resolution to its central mystery.
