DIGGING UP A LOST BRONZE AGE CIVILISATION FROM ANCIENT BRITAIN

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of 'Digging For Britain' offers a fascinating glimpse into Britain's prehistoric past, specifically focusing on the enigmatic Beaker people. The discovery of an early Bronze Age burial site, located a mere five miles from the iconic Stonehenge, is particularly compelling. The program effectively highlights the distinctive artifacts, such as pottery, often found with these ancient burials, suggesting a connection to this specific civilization. While the episode delves into archaeological methods and the significance of such finds, it serves as an engaging introduction to a period rich with unanswered questions about early British society and its inhabitants.
