Patrick Horvath's 2009 indie offering, "Die-ner (Get It?)", plunges into the bleak, fluorescent-lit world of a lonely diner, where a seemingly unassuming serial killer named Ken (Joshua Grote) encounters more than he bargained for. What begins as a darkly comedic horror flick, with Ken methodically dispatching the diner's lone waitress and cook, quickly spirals into a surreal cat-and-mouse game when his victims inexplicably return from the dead.
