Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the tragic life of Wilma Ann Hanska, also known as Diana Rattlesnake. The narrative traces her journey from a guilty plea for manslaughter, stemming from an abusive relationship, to her release from prison and subsequent attempts at a new beginning in Brandon. Despite seeking to reinvent herself, the cycle of abuse tragically continued, culminating in her untimely death at the age of 48 in a Brandon rooming house. The film presents a somber exploration of domestic violence, the challenges of overcoming past trauma, and the pervasive societal issues that can trap individuals in destructive patterns. It serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by those seeking to escape abusive situations and the devastating consequences that can follow.
