DEVIL MAY CARE

Cinemavixion Review

Sam Mason-Bell's "Devil May Care" plunges viewers into a chilling narrative that deftly blends supernatural horror with psychological dread. The film follows a group of six friends whose exploration of an abandoned woodland theatre unleashes forces far beyond their comprehension, encountering both the devil and a menacing beast. The atmosphere is palpable, drawing audiences into the claustrophobic confines of the theatre and the dark, foreboding woods. Performances, particularly from Eliot Gibson and James Hamer-Morton, anchor the escalating terror, conveying genuine fear and desperation as the friends grapple with their dire circumstances. While the plot hints at a classic Faustian bargain, the execution leans into visceral scares and the primal fear of the unknown, making "Devil May Care" a compelling watch for fans of atmospheric horror.
