DERELICTS

Cinemavixion Review

DERELICTS plunges viewers into a harrowing Thanksgiving ordeal where familial tensions are brutally overshadowed by an invasion of sadistic drifters. The film masterfully crafts a suspenseful atmosphere, escalating the dread as a seemingly ordinary suburban home becomes a battleground. Director Brett Glassberg (according to external data) expertly navigates the narrative, building palpable tension through the escalating conflict between the affluent family and their unwelcome guests. The premise itself is a chilling exploration of class disparity and the fragility of perceived safety, amplified by the holiday setting that underscores the disruption of domestic tranquility. While specific details on awards and critical reception are sparse (as per external data), the film's grim premise and intense execution promise a disturbing, yet compelling, cinematic experience for fans of home invasion thrillers.
