DEPRIVATION

Cinemavixion Review

Director Chris Foster's "Deprivation" plunges viewers into a chilling psychological experiment that blurs the lines between reality and hallucination. The film chronicles the harrowing experience of three friends who isolate themselves in a remote cabin for seven days, their sole objective to remain awake and document every moment. As the relentless sleep deprivation takes its toll, the friends descend into a vortex of paranoia and disturbing visions, transforming their ambitious project into a nightmarish descent into madness. Foster, who also stars in the film, masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread, where the very act of filming becomes a witness to their unraveling minds. While the film's exploration of the fragility of the human psyche under extreme stress is compelling, its independent spirit and focused narrative make it a potent entry for those drawn to claustrophobic thrillers that probe the dark corners of consciousness.
