DEMON BABY: FEAR INSIDE YOU

Cinemavixion Review

Coz Greenop's "DEMON BABY: FEAR INSIDE YOU" plunges viewers into the stark, isolating beauty of the Scottish Highlands, a setting that mirrors the fractured state of its protagonists' relationship. The film masterfully uses its remote locale not just as a backdrop, but as an active participant in the psychological unraveling of a young couple attempting to mend their bond. Carina Birrell and David Wayman deliver performances steeped in a palpable tension, their interactions oscillating between desperate attempts at connection and the chilling undercurrent of unspoken resentments. As their retreat devolves, the external landscape becomes a potent metaphor for the internal demons they are forced to confront, making for a haunting exploration of love, loss, and the ghosts of the past.
