DEMON BABY

Cinemavixion Review

This stark psychological thriller plunges viewers into the desolate beauty of the Scottish Highlands, where a struggling couple seeks to mend their fractured relationship amidst breathtaking, yet isolating, landscapes. The film masterfully uses the remote setting to amplify the internal turmoil and escalating tensions between the protagonists. As their past traumas resurface, the line between supernatural haunting and psychological breakdown blurs, creating a palpable sense of dread. Director Coz Greenop crafts an intimate, claustrophobic atmosphere, supported by committed performances that convey the raw vulnerability and desperation of their characters. While the narrative delves into dark themes, it offers a compelling, albeit unsettling, exploration of how personal demons can manifest in the most unexpected and terrifying ways, making this a potent watch for those drawn to atmospheric and character-driven horror.
