DEATH BY ENVY

Cinemavixion Review

Quincy Trent's "Death by Envy" plunges viewers into the heart of a suburban nightmare, where a promising future is brutally extinguished. The film masterfully captures the shockwaves that ripple through a close-knit neighborhood following the murder of Abel Jones (Simeon Henderson), a man poised for success. His wife's harrowing experience serves as the emotional anchor, drawing the audience into the pervasive sense of unease and suspicion. The narrative skillfully explores themes of ambition, community, and the unexpected fragility of life, leaving a lasting impression. With a compelling performance from Khadijah Freeman as the grieving wife, this drama is a poignant examination of loss and the lingering questions that envy and violence can leave behind. The film's tight pacing and atmospheric tension make it a captivating watch.
