DEADLY WORDZ

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges into the competitive world of spoken word poetry, centered around the ambitious Werdz Steele. As the annual competition approaches, the narrative explores themes of talent, ambition, and the potential shortcuts that can arise when family ties intersect with artistic pursuits, especially given his father's ownership of the venue. While the external data points to a 2003 release directed by A.B. Harris and starring Seven, Michael Q. Davis, Alinor Ben Menashe, and Terri Twine, the local data offers a more minimalist presentation. The film's intriguing premise, focusing on the dramatic stakes within the poetry circuit, promises a compelling look at artistry and the pressures that accompany it. It's a story that could resonate with anyone familiar with the intensity of creative expression and the quest for recognition.
