DEADLY STILL

Cinemavixion Review

Anton Zenkovich's 2018 thriller, "Deadly Still," plunges viewers into the eerie heart of rural Russia. The narrative centers on a group of friends whose lives take a terrifying turn following a deer-vehicle collision. Seeking assistance, they stumble upon a secluded cabin, only to discover a chilling photograph that eerily foreshadows their own accident. This premise sets the stage for a suspenseful exploration of fate and the supernatural. While the external data suggests a runtime of 80 minutes and a modest IMDb rating of 5.1, the film's strength lies in its unsettling atmosphere and the intriguing paradox presented by the foreboding photograph. Despite a lack of major awards or widespread critical acclaim, "Deadly Still" offers a compelling, albeit bleak, cinematic experience for fans of psychological horror and mystery.
