DEADLY EXPOSURE

Cinemavixion Review

Lawrence Mortorff's 'Deadly Exposure' plunges viewers into the murky depths of 90s suspense, a gritty thriller that resonates with contemporary political unease. The film masterfully follows a jaded investigative journalist drawn back to his hometown following his father's murder. What begins as a personal quest for vengeance quickly escalates into a dangerous entanglement with a shadowy right-wing extremist faction and corrupt officials plotting a high-profile assassination. Robby Benson anchors the narrative with a compelling performance, navigating a treacherous landscape of conspiracy. The film's strength lies in its taut pacing and the palpable sense of danger that permeates every scene, making it a potent, if somewhat overlooked, entry in the political thriller genre.
