DEAD TRIGGER

Cinemavixion Review

In a world ravaged by a mysterious virus that has decimated humanity and spawned hordes of ravenous zombies, a desperate government turns to a grimly meta solution: a video game called "Dead Trigger." This film plunges viewers into a bleak future where the lines between reality and virtual combat blur, as the game mirrors the very apocalyptic events plaguing the planet. While the local data provides a sparse initial glimpse, the external information fleshes out a narrative centered on action, horror, and science fiction elements, featuring a cast led by Dolph Lundgren. Though critically panned with a 3.2/10 on IMDb, "Dead Trigger" offers a unique premise that explores the psychological toll of survival and the escapism found even in the direst of circumstances. It's a film that dives headfirst into its high-concept, potentially offering a visceral, albeit flawed, cinematic experience for fans of post-apocalyptic zombie fare.
