DEAD MARY

Cinemavixion Review

This chilling horror offering, 'Dead Mary,' plunges viewers into a weekend getaway that rapidly devolves into a nightmare. The narrative skillfully builds tension as a group of friends, grappling with fractured relationships, unleashes an ancient evil through a dangerous ritual. The film excels in its claustrophobic atmosphere, effectively utilizing the isolated setting to amplify the sense of dread. Performances, particularly from the core cast, convey a palpable fear as they confront an unseen, malevolent force that begins to possess their own. While the plot may tread familiar ground in the supernatural horror genre, the execution is commendable, offering a suspenseful ride with moments of genuine fright. It's a solid entry for fans seeking a supernatural tale of possession and survival.
