DEAD HEIST

Cinemavixion Review

Bo Webb's 'Dead Heist' plunges viewers into a chaotic fusion of heist thriller and creature feature. Set against the grimy backdrop of Miami and a small town called Maysville, the film initially follows a group of thieves whose plan to rob a bank takes a sharp, horrifying turn. What begins as a straightforward crime narrative quickly escalates when the robbers, trapped by a police siege, find themselves under attack from an unexpected and terrifying source: vampire zombies. The plot thickens with the introduction of a former government agent who reveals the creatures are the result of an escaped experimental virus, transforming their victims into ravenous monsters. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 3.8/10, 'Dead Heist' offers a unique, albeit B-movie, blend of genres that might appeal to fans looking for unconventional action and horror. The film's ambition to combine bank robbery suspense with a zombie apocalypse, featuring Big Daddy Kane, Brandon Xavier, and D.J. Naylor, presents a distinctive, if somewhat uneven, cinematic experience.
