DEAD DON'T DIE IN DALLAS

Cinemavixion Review

Israel Luna's "Dead Don't Die in Dallas" plunges viewers into a bizarre and darkly comedic post-apocalyptic Texas. The premise, involving a miracle pill with catastrophic side-effects, sets the stage for an unlikely alliance between a town's surviving gay community and a Bible-thumping preacher's family. This peculiar setup allows for a sharp, satirical exploration of societal divides juxtaposed against a flesh-eating mutant outbreak. The film's strength lies in its audacious concept and the sheer commitment to its outlandish narrative. While the external data notes a mixed reception with a 3.9/10 IMDb rating, the sheer originality and bold thematic undercurrents make "Dead Don't Die in Dallas" a cult curiosity worth uncovering for those who appreciate genre-bending and provocative storytelling.
