DAWN OF THE BEAST

Cinemavixion Review

Venture into the chilling depths of the wilderness with "Dawn of the Beast," a film that masterfully blends creature feature suspense with the primal terror of folklore. The narrative follows a group of ambitious graduate students whose academic pursuit of Bigfoot transforms into a desperate fight for survival. As the legend of the Sasquatch proves true, an even more ancient and malevolent entity, the Wendigo, emerges from the shadows, plunging the expedition into a nightmarish ordeal. Director Bruce Wemple crafts an atmosphere thick with dread, using the isolated forest setting to amplify the characters' vulnerability. The film excels in its escalating tension and its effective portrayal of fear, making it a compelling watch for fans of supernatural horror and creature-centric thrillers. Its commitment to a dark, primal mythology ensures a memorable and unsettling cinematic experience.
