DARKNESS VISIBLE

Cinemavixion Review

Neil Biswas's 2019 thriller, "Darkness Visible," plunges into the murky depths of familial secrets and inherited darkness. The film follows Ronnie, a Londoner who returns to his Indian roots following the mysterious death of his mother, Suleka. As Ronnie delves into the circumstances surrounding her demise, he unearths a disturbing pattern of similar past murders, forcing him to confront his own inner turmoil and a legacy of violence. While the film garnered a 5.6 rating on IMDb, its exploration of psychological suspense and cultural duality offers a compelling, albeit somber, cinematic experience. The narrative skillfully weaves a mystery that is as much about external investigation as it is about an internal descent, making "Darkness Visible" a thought-provoking watch for those drawn to intricate thrillers.
