DARK PARASITE

Cinemavixion Review

"Dark Parasite" plunges viewers into a claustrophobic nightmare, weaving a tale of desperate thieves seeking refuge in an unassuming suburban apartment building. However, their sanctuary becomes a tomb as they unwittingly disturb a terrifying alien entity lurking in the basement, a creature possessing insidious telepathic powers. Directed by Luca Boni and Marco Ristori, the film, released in 2023, leans into its horror roots, exploring themes of isolation and the unknown. While the premise echoes familiar genre tropes, the execution aims for a chilling atmosphere. The creature's telepathic abilities add a psychological layer to the impending terror, promising a tense struggle for survival against an unseen, mind-bending foe. This sci-fi horror offering invites audiences to experience a descent into primal fear where the greatest threat may be within their own minds.
