DARK PARASITE

Cinemavixion Review

Luca Boni and Marco Ristori's 'Dark Parasite' plunges viewers into a claustrophobic suburban nightmare, where a botched robbery leads a group of criminals to an apartment building harboring a terrifying secret. The film masterfully blends elements of sci-fi horror with a tense, survivalist narrative. The premise, centering on an alien creature with telepathic abilities lurking in the building's depths, offers a chilling exploration of isolation and primal fear. Michael Segál, Désirée Giorgetti, and Aaron Stielstra deliver performances that effectively convey the escalating panic and desperation of their characters. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim, its commitment to atmosphere and its unique creature concept make it a noteworthy entry for fans of independent horror seeking a creature feature with a disturbing premise.
