DARK HONEYMOON

Cinemavixion Review

David O'Malley's 'Dark Honeymoon' plunges viewers into a chilling narrative set against the stark beauty of the Oregon coast. The film masterfully crafts a tale of a whirlwind romance that quickly devolves into a terrifying ordeal. Nick Cornish delivers a compelling performance as a man ensnared by the allure of his new bride, Lindy Booth, who embodies a captivating yet ultimately dangerous seductress. The tension escalates with each passing moment, as the idyllic honeymoon setting becomes a backdrop for unfolding mysteries and mounting dread. O'Malley skillfully blends elements of psychological thriller and horror, keeping the audience guessing until the final, shocking revelation. While the film may not boast widespread critical acclaim, its effective atmosphere and suspenseful plotting make it a noteworthy entry for those seeking a dark, twist-laden cinematic experience.
