DARK CORNERS

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Parry's 'Dark Corners' plunges viewers into a disorienting world of grief and paranoia. The film masterfully weaves a narrative around Jack, an ex-sports star grappling with the brutal murder of his wife. Navid Negahban delivers a compelling performance, embodying the character's descent into obsession as he is pursued by a spectral figure eerily mirroring his late spouse. The tension is palpable, fueled by ambiguous encounters and fragmented memories that blur the lines between reality and delusion. While the IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the film's exploration of psychological torment and the desperate search for truth makes it a noteworthy entry in the thriller genre, urging audiences to question what lies beneath the surface of Jack's fractured psyche.
