DARK CHRONICLES: MALEVOLENT STORIES

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher M. Carter, Jessica Morgan, and Dustin Rieffer's "Dark Chronicles: Malevolent Stories" weaves a tapestry of dread through four distinct yet thematically linked narratives. The film plunges viewers into unsettling scenarios, beginning with a priest's harrowing exorcism, a confrontation that immediately sets a tone of visceral terror. The subsequent tales explore the consequences of unleashing unseen evils and the primal struggle for survival against overwhelming fear. Each story, while unique in its premise, resonates with a shared atmosphere of encroaching darkness and the fragility of human resolve. The ensemble cast, including Steve McKee, Katy Mahard, and Jessica Morgan, delivers performances that effectively capture the escalating tension and psychological strain inherent in their characters' plights. This anthology serves as a chilling exploration of the darker aspects of the human psyche and the supernatural forces that can prey upon it.
