DARK CHAIN: FORWARD IT OR DI

Cinemavixion Review

Barry J. Gillis's "DARK CHAIN: FORWARD IT OR DI" plunges into the grim territory of vigilantism, presenting a narrative driven by a father's desperate resolve. The film centers on a man pushed to his limits when his daughter becomes the sole witness to a brutal double homicide, escaping the clutches of elusive serial killers. This premise sets the stage for a tense exploration of morality, justice, and the lengths one might go to protect their loved ones. The performances, particularly from Yunona Anders, Edwin Autridge, and Vanessa Avik, navigate the film's dark undercurrents, grappling with the psychological toll of trauma and the ethical quandaries of taking matters into one's own hands. The film invites viewers to ponder the blurred lines between right and wrong when the system fails and the instinct for retribution takes hold.
