DARK AMAZON

Cinemavixion Review

This jungle thriller plunges viewers into the heart of the Amazon, where a documentary film crew's pursuit of a groundbreaking medical discovery quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival. Directed by Darcyana Moreno Izel, 'Dark Amazon' masterfully blends elements of adventure and supernatural horror, creating an atmosphere of escalating dread. The narrative skillfully contrasts the scientific endeavors of the researchers with the raw, untamed dangers of the rainforest, amplified by unexplained phenomena. Starring Mina Olivera, Don Jeanes, and Michelle Taylor, the film delivers a tense and claustrophobic experience, pushing its characters to their limits as they confront both external threats and their own internal struggles. While earning a 4.2 rating on IMDb, the film's compelling premise and suspenseful execution make it a noteworthy entry for fans of survival horror and mysteries set in remote locales.
