DARE TO SAY YES

Cinemavixion Review

Lindsay Hartley's "Dare to Say Yes" offers a charming exploration of personal reinvention, anchored by a relatable protagonist. The narrative centers on Michelle, whose life takes a downward spiral with a simultaneous job loss and breakup. It's in this moment of despair that a wellness retreat, aptly named "Just Say Yes," becomes her unlikely sanctuary. The film skillfully portrays Michelle's journey from fear to empowerment, as she confronts her inhibitions and begins to embrace life's possibilities, including the potential for new love. Amy Douglass delivers a compelling performance as Michelle, navigating the character's emotional arc with sincerity. While the film may tread familiar romantic comedy ground, its focus on self-discovery and positive affirmation provides a heartwarming and ultimately uplifting viewing experience.
