DANNY DYER'S DEADLIEST MEN - ELIJAH "JAJA" KERR

Cinemavixion Review

Danny Dyer ventures into the often-misunderstood territories of the "hoodie generation" in this compelling documentary segment. His direct approach seeks to bridge divides, and his conversation with Elijah "JaJa" Kerr offers a raw, unfiltered glimpse into a life shaped by the streets. Kerr, a former Brixton gangster, bank robber, and crack dealer, and a founder of the south London PDC gang, shares his experiences, providing a narrative that challenges preconceptions. Dyer’s willingness to engage with such complex figures makes this an insightful, albeit brief, exploration of societal issues and the individuals caught within them. It’s a piece that prompts reflection on the realities behind headlines.
