DAD FOR HIRE

Cinemavixion Review

This charming film explores the complexities of modern family life through the eyes of Irina, a driven bakery owner whose ambition for her son Vasily's future is met with an unexpected paternal obstacle. Faced with the need for consent to send her son abroad, Irina devises a clever, albeit unconventional, plan when a man with the same name as her estranged partner appears. The narrative cleverly sets up a comedic and potentially heartwarming conflict as this new 'father' introduces his own set of demands. The premise promises a delightful exploration of what defines a family and the lengths one might go to secure a child's opportunities, hinting at themes of love, responsibility, and perhaps finding a father figure in the most unexpected of places.
