Vladimir Bilenjki's "Dad" offers a poignant and unsettling exploration of familial bonds and buried pain. The film centers on sisters Deborah and Deanna, whose reunion at a family cottage becomes a catalyst for confronting deeply ingrained traumas. Through subtle yet powerful performances from Masa Lizdek and Brianna Daguanno, the narrative unfolds with a quiet intensity, revealing the complex emotional landscape that lies beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary lives. The intimate setting of the cottage amplifies the growing tension, as the sisters navigate their shared past and the unspoken burdens that have shaped them.
