CUPID'S ARROW

Cinemavixion Review

Daniel Peterson's 2010 independent film, "Cupid's Arrow," delves into the murky ethical waters of academia when an innocent college couple finds themselves entangled in their professor's clandestine research. The narrative explores the perilous pursuit of manipulating love, culminating in the recreation of the titular "Cupid's Arrow." Starring C. Thomas Howell, Chandler Rylko, and Najarra Townsend, the film, despite its modest IMDb rating of 3.5/10, offers a thought-provoking, albeit potentially cautionary, tale about the intersection of science, desire, and unintended consequences. It's a niche exploration of obsession within the academic setting, inviting audiences to ponder the lengths to which scientific curiosity can be pushed.
