CREEP VAN

Cinemavixion Review

Drawing inspiration from the '80s horror classics like 'Duel' and 'Christine,' "Creep Van" delivers a delightfully retro slasher experience. This independent gem plunges a slacker into a terrifying chase after a mysterious "For Sale" van, blending unsettling dread with moments of unexpected dark humor. Director Scott W. McKinlay crafts a narrative that, while straightforward, effectively builds suspense. The film's charm lies in its commitment to its B-movie aesthetic, offering a fun, albeit gory, ride for genre aficionados. While it may not reinvent the wheel, "Creep Van" succeeds as a loving homage, providing a creepy and occasionally wacky throwback that fans of practical effects and '80s horror tropes will appreciate.
