CREATURES OF THE NIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

This intriguing short, 'Creatures of the Night,' plunges viewers into a peculiar late-night horror anthology hosted by the increasingly unhinged Azazel. The narrative cleverly explores themes of professional jealousy and fractured sanity as Azazel clashes with his director and the favored, dim-witted puppet co-host, Scumball. While the external data presents a distinct plot from the local description, the film's exploration of its central characters' deteriorating mental states and the dynamic between the human host and his puppeteered counterpart offers a compelling, albeit unsettling, viewing experience. The short format efficiently builds atmosphere and tension, making it a noteworthy piece for those interested in psychological horror with a meta-textual edge.
