CRAZY BROKE ASIANS

Cinemavixion Review

Steve Myung directs and stars in 'Crazy Broke Asians,' a 2014 romantic comedy that centers on Harry Ho, an unemployed Korean writer, and his efforts to impress the conservative parents of his Chinese-American girlfriend, Anita. The film promises a chaotic blend of cultural expectations and familial eccentricities, amplified by Anita's suspicious brother, a rival doctor, and a large gathering of relatives for her 30th birthday. With a cast including Lina So, George Cheung, Elizabeth Sung, and Brian Yang, the movie sets out to be a humorous exploration of modern relationships navigating traditional pressures, offering a 'real Korean barbecue' of comedic situations.
