COWBOYS VS ZOMBIES

Cinemavixion Review

Rene Perez's 'Cowboys vs Zombies' plunges viewers into the heart of the California Gold Rush, but with a sinister, otherworldly twist. Set against the rugged backdrop of 1849 Jamestown, the film expertly blends the grit of the Western genre with the visceral terror of science-fiction horror. When a mysterious meteor's arrival unleashes a devastating contagion, the desperate fight for survival transforms the frontier into a battleground against mutated horrors. The narrative thrives on this collision of eras and threats, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit against unimaginable odds. David A. Lockhart, Camille Montgomery, and Rick Mora anchor the film with performances that capture the desperation and courage required in such a dire situation. It's a unique concoction that offers a fresh, albeit grim, perspective on historical settings.
