COUNTRY HOUSE RESCUE - ABODE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Country House Rescue - Abode,' viewers are introduced to William and Ann, a couple who invested their life savings into Gissing Hall, transforming it into a hotel. Their daughter Harriet's departure as manager marked a decline in the establishment's fortunes, leaving William and Ann, novices in the hospitality industry, in a precarious position. The episode follows hotelier Ruth Watson's intervention, tasked with revitalizing the struggling venue. The narrative explores the challenges of unfulfilled dreams and the steep learning curve of entrepreneurship, particularly when significant personal investment is at stake. It's a compelling look at a couple's fight to save their dream home and business from the brink of failure, questioning whether Watson's expertise can provide the lifeline Gissing Hall desperately needs.
