COP KILLERS

Cinemavixion Review

Walter R. Cichy's 1973 crime drama, 'Cop Killers,' plunges viewers into a dark narrative of desperation and violence. The film follows a pair of disillusioned hippies whose journey towards a drug deal takes a catastrophic turn when they fatally confront law enforcement at a roadblock. What ensues is a harrowing descent into a crime spree, marked by escalating acts of robbery and murder. Starring Jason Williams, Bill Osco, and Diane Keller, the film grapples with themes of societal alienation and the destructive consequences of impulsive choices. Its gritty portrayal of a criminal underworld offers a stark reflection of a turbulent era, making it a notable, albeit grim, piece of 1970s cinema.
