COOL DOG

Cinemavixion Review

A heartwarming tale of canine loyalty unfolds in "Cool Dog," a family-friendly adventure that resonates with themes of belonging and perseverance. The narrative centers on Rainy, a devoted pet whose world is upended when his family must move to a pet-prohibited New York apartment. Rather than accept separation, Rainy embarks on an ambitious cross-country trek, showcasing remarkable determination. While the film might tread familiar narrative paths, its execution is earnest, focusing on the emotional bond between a boy and his dog. The journey itself serves as a metaphor for overcoming obstacles and the lengths one will go to for companionship. "Cool Dog" offers a charming, albeit simple, viewing experience, particularly for younger audiences who will connect with Rainy's unwavering spirit and the film's gentle pacing.
